Naryn
Naryn Province (Kyrgyz: Naryn oblasty) is the largest province (oblast) of Kyrgyzstan. Its capital is Naryn.
The province was established on November 21, 1939 as Tien-Shan
Province. On December 20, 1962 the province was dissolved, but on
December 11, 1970 re-established again. On October 5, 1988 it was
unified with Issyk-Kul Province, and, finally, on December 14, 1990 it got back its present name: Naryn Province.
Salkyn-Tor
On May 25, 2001, the government of the Kyrgyz Republic declared
Saltyn-Tor a state park in an effort to expand the nature conservation efforts
to improve the environment. It is located about 15 km from the north-south
region and 30 km from the east-west regions of Naryn city. The park has 40.299
sq/m of protected area. The park has bears, lynxes, mountain goats, deer,
wolves, foxes, snow leopards, squirrels, rabbits, badgers, and marmots. Also,
about 300 different species of plants grow here (carrots, peppermint, herbs,
medicinal plants, and more). Salkin-Tor has a natural cave, "Kojo-Unkyul,”
historic hills, "Doyuberi,” a fountain, "Kylgaku,” and beautiful canyons,
"Kok-Jyaiuk,” "Berkut-Uya,” "Kuzur-Zoo” and more. There are many attractions
that draws the heart s of people who visit it.
Dear (Bugu) Reserve
On December 29,1983, the Naryn State Reserve was created for the
protection of rare animals and plants that are upstream of Naryn river. There
are 206,13 sq/m of protected area (96,40 sq/m area forbidden) Predation of red
deer began at the end of the 19th century. In 1901 the population was reduced
to 41 head, and then gradually increased. In 2003, it has increased by more than
280 head. The reserve will protect the rare species of animals such as red deer
who are wounded, and then release them back into the wild. It is possible for
tourists visit this sanctuary. You can interact with red deer.

Chatyr-Kol
About 6 hours on horseback from Tash-Rabat, you can go to the lake
located at 3,530 m altitude, called Chatyr-Kol. This lake has changed colors
over time. Over the lake, sometimes you can see China.
Koshoi-Korgon
In the epic poem of Manas, it is stated that the walls of Koshoy-Korgon
were built to protect the area from enemies. The whole area of the castle : 4 hectares inside, 7 hectares outside. The thickness of the walls : Downward 9m (bottom), above the 6m. The
height of the walls : 12m There is a legend that states that a long time ago, water flowed out
from beneath the castle.
Originating from the 8-12
century, three different digging tools have been found around the area towards
the bottom of the castle. A lot of relics were found along with weapons that
been used to hunt beast, to cook, to dig around the ground and more.View More >>>
Tash-Rabat
Tash‐Rabat was built during the
10-15th century for the Silk Road trade. It was a transit point and place for
caravans to stay. The space exudes a mystical light of the sun to shine into
the building. There are many rooms inside the stables, such as a hall,
bedrooms, a kitchen, etc. We can give more than just a passing thought to the
life of caravans from that time. When visiting Tash‐Rabat,
make sure to walk through twice. Legend has it that the number of rooms you

Kol-Suu
Kol-Suu (Kyrgyz: Көлсуу) is an alpine lake
in At-Bashy
District of Naryn
Province of southeastern Kyrgyzstan. It is located at 3500 m elevation in the Tian-Shan mountains.
It is fed and drained by the Kurumduk
River, a left tributary of the Kok-Kyya River , which is a right tributary of the Toshkan
River (Kakshal).
Son-Kol
Issyk-Kul lake is a summer resort that is very crowded during the
summer. Song-Kol however, is very quiet and you will be able to enjoy the
scenic wilderness. This lake is at an altitude of 3016m, around 278km, width 29
km, vertical 18km. In contrast, you can marvel at the majestic mountains and
green meadows that are very spacious. Also, climb the nearby mountain lake or
take a walk or enjoy horseback riding. If there is good weather at night the
sky is full of stars. Also, relax and watch the beautiful sunsets. To really
get the full experience, sleep in a Yurt like the nomads who live at the lake
from May to September to watch their livestock. During other seasons Song-Kol
is closed due to of snow.
Chon-Tuz
The caves are located 2100 m above sea level. It is part of the
underground salt mine. There is a medical center called "Chon-Tuz". The medical
center is 500m long, 45m wide 4.5m tall in the basement. There is a large, hospital room and gallery etc. Accommodations can hold
up to 100 people. This salt mine has natural factors, such as strong concentrations of
ions and iron. It blends into the unique, underground hospital. Here, pollen
and allergies do not exist. Highland cave therapy is a very effective way for
rehabilitation of bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis and other allergic diseases.
